The winner, Euchen Glen (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Chester on 6 May 2021 where the gelding finished seventh of eight, beaten by 48 ¼ lengths.
The representative of Jim Goldie explained that Euchen Glen (GB) was suited by the Soft, Good to Soft going on this occasion and by the fast early pace of the race; his explanation was noted and the gelding was routine tested.
