The winner Odds On Oli (GB), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Wolverhampton on 16 December 2019 where the gelding finished eighth of eleven runners, beaten by 9 lengths.
It was noted that the representative of Richard Fahey could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form, other than having stripped fitter for two recent runs back from a 170 day break.
