Rare Bob made sure of a good pace here and it was Hidden Agent, who stayed on best in the closing stages to land the spoils.

Philip Carberry was hard at work in third turning in but he started to make inroads on Gusda running to the last and got on top on the run-in.

The winner had run well when stepping up to this trip at Fairyhouse last time. He goes chasing next year and looks the type to do well over staying trips.

Gusda looked to have done enough as he held a good advantage running to the last. He could find no more, however, as Hidden Agent stayed on strongly but kept at it well.

Bronte Bay, ridden in a moderate fifth turning in, looked well held in sixth before the last but kept on again on the run-in.

Drumconvis again came from the rear but was getting going all to late. A moderate twelfth turning in he stayed on well from before the last.

Sizing Amerca kept on at the one pace from the turn while Oscar Time, second turning in, weakened out of it before the last.

Duers, who ran yesterday, was an absentee as he was coughing.
