Oscar Time was entitled to win this conditions hurdle. He was weighted to beat main market rival, Ballytrim, on their running behind Jack The Bus over a slightly longer trip at Navan. Oscar Time could be picked out as the winner from well before the home straight and once hitting the front jumping the second last the result was in little doubt.

Ballytrim held every chance after jumping the third last, but was very one paced and certainly needs a greater test of stamina. Prudent Honour took the lead turning for home, but soon came under pressure and was well held in second when blundering the final flight. His jockey Paul Carberry performed heroics to stay in the saddle.

Cailin Vic Mo Cri came under pressure before halfway, but plugged on gallantly to finish third. She is becoming a frustrating sort, but should pick up a staying contest at some stage.

Klassy ran nice race coming off a break. He was held up in rear before creeping into contention after jumping the third last, however he soon came off the bridle and will improve from the outing.
