Paddy Flood made the most of his spare ride on Valley Of Giants. The pair were at the head of affairs throughout and jumped well for a comfortable 9 lengths success. The winner was the best backed horse in the race and this may prove to be his optimum trip having failed to stay three miles on his last start.
Main market rival Lissbonney Project made several mistakes and was eventually pulled up after a particularly bad blunder at the fourth last fence.
