Carroll, placed fifth, where it appeared that Sosallycanwait got tight for room when racing between horses. In his evidence G.F. Carroll stated that his mount got unbalanced and could not quicken with the horses both sides of him. J.A. Heffernan stated that he challenged on the outer and corrected his mount on hearing a riders call. A.J

Slattery stated that his mount rolled very little. All riders referenced that the runners were inexperienced two year olds. Having viewed the recording of that part of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action

G.F. Carroll, rider of Sosallycanwait trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slightly checked about one and a half furlongs from the finish

N.M. Crosse, rider of Go Razzmatazz trained by Richard John O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly right during this race.
