Permission was given for Tribal Wisdom (IRE) to wear a red hood to the start and for Nuvolari (GB) to go early to post.
Approximately 1 furlong out, Wodeton (FR), placed fourth, lugged left causing Tickets (GB), placed sixth, to be briefly hampered, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Wodeton (FR).
Following the race, Shane Kelly reported that Tickets (GB), placed sixth, suffered interference approximately 1 furlong out.
Cieren Fallon reported that Ar El Bee (FR), unplaced, stopped quickly; David Menuisier further reported that the gelding was never travelling and was unsuited by the undulating track at Epsom on this occasion and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Ar El Bee (FR) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
