Permission was given for Lotus Rose (GB) to go early to post.
Kyle McHugh, the rider of Honour Your Dreams (FR), was unseated leaving the stalls.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no other horse or rider was involved and the unseat was caused by the gelding stumbling.
The winner, Hurt You Never (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Doncaster on 2 May 2024 where the mare finished fifth of seven runners, beaten 15 lengths on ground officially described as Good to Soft.
Adrian Nicholls’ explanation that the mare had appreciated a return to a faster surface, which was officially described as Good, Good to Firm in places, was noted.
Hurt You Never (IRE) was routine tested.
Approximately 1 ½ furlongs out, Foreseeable Future (FR), unplaced, edged slightly right-handed at the same time as LET’S GO HUGO (IRE), placed fourth, edged slightly left-handed causing Mrs Trump (IRE), unplaced, to become short for room and the rider to take a slight check, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Mark Winn reported that Mrs Trump (IRE), unplaced, was briefly denied a clear run 1 ½ furlongs out.
