He won well in fairness to him and the ground was a big help. It was a bit slow for him the last day and a few things didn't work out - he got a bump. He has a lot of pace and was a good two-year-old. I'd say he'll go for the Commonwealth Cup. He's a quick horse and fast ground is the key to him as he's a low mover. Five or six is his trip. The Stewards requested a report from A.P.O'Brien, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Washington DC, winner, as compared with its most recent run at Ascot on 27th April, where he finished 7th of 9 runners, beaten 7 lengths on going that was officially Good to Soft, Good in places. Joseph O'Brien, authorised representative of the trainer concerned reported that their horse was previously very impressive at Dundalk, and a return to a quicker racing surface today may have brought about any apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted it's contents.
