Following the race, Rowan Scott reported that Seen The Lyte (IRE), unplaced, missed the break; Paddy Mathers reported that Primo's Comet (GB), placed third, was fractious in the stalls, and then slowly away as a result and Cam Hardie reported that Canford Bay (IRE), unplaced, lost its action inside the final furlong; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
The representative of Paul Midgley reported that Nibras Again (GB), placed fourth, was unsuited by the Good going which in their opinion was riding loose on this occasion.
