Ishvara (GB), placed second, appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Great Yarmouth on 15 July 2020 where the filly finished last of nine, beaten by 58¼ lengths over 6 furlongs on Good to Firm ground.
Robert Cowell’s representative’s explanation that Ishvara (GB) may have appreciated the drop back down to 5 furlongs combined with a return to easier ground, which was officially described as Good on this occasion, as well as the application of first-time cheekpieces, was noted.
