Permission was given for Flaming Marvel (IRE) to wear a hood in the parade ring only.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after two instances of interference between the winner, Cantiniere (USA), ridden by Gabriele Malune and Deal A Dollar (GB), placed second, ridden by Daniel Tudhope.
The Stewards considered neither incident had improved the placing of Cantiniere (USA) as the filly was eased down on the run to the line, comfortably beating Deal A Dollar (GB) by half a length.
In both incidents, Malune was cautioned for careless riding in that he allowed his mount to hang-left handed when insufficiently clear.
Following the race, Daniel Muscutt reported that Lexington Empire (GB), placed fourth, hung left-handed inside the final three furlongs.
