The winner, Horsefly (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Nottingham on 18 May 2021, where the filly finished fourth of seven, beaten by 14¾ lengths.
The representative of Michael Bell explained that Horsefly (IRE) was suited by the slightly quicker Good, Good to Soft in places going on this occasion compared with the Good to Soft ground at Nottingham which, in their opinion, had been riding slower than described; her explanation was noted.
