Permission was given for James Mchenry (GB) to go to post early wearing a red hood.
The winner, Sisyphus Strength (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Ascot on 22 June 2023, where the filly finished eighteenth of nineteen runners, beaten 43 ¼ lengths.
It was noted that Andrew Balding's representative could offer no explanation for the improvement in form.
Sisyphus Strength (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Joey Haynes reported that Sir Laurence Graff (IRE), unplaced, ran too free and Harry Davies reported that Lion Kingdom (GB), placed second, hung left-handed.
