Eve Johnson Houghton’s explanation that the filly was unsuited by the Good, Good to Soft in Places ground on this occasion and would prefer a quicker surface, was noted.
Following the race, Kieran Shoemark reported that Miss Villanelle (GB), placed fourth, was slowly away and Luke Morris reported that Mild Illusion (IRE), placed third, hung left-handed under pressure.
