The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Thehairyfella, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have skin scrapings on his fore legs but otherwise was post race normal

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend leaving the back straight involving Three By Two, ridden by R. Deegan, unplaced, Coastguard Lady, ridden by J.P. O'Sullivan, unplaced, and Depeche Mo, ridden by M.J.M O'Sullivan, unplaced where it appeared Coastguard Lady ran short of room on the inner. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R. Deegan stated that he was back pedaling at that point in the race and didn't feel like he contributed to the incident. J.P. O'Sullivan stated that he ran out of room between Depeche Mo and the running rail. M.J.M O'Sullivan stated that he felt he was riding his racing line inside of Three By Two when he felt pressure from his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action
