Permission was given for Sisterandbrother (GB) to go early to post.
The apparent improvement in form of the winner, Lindwall (IRE), compared with its previous run at Salisbury on 29 May 2021, where the gelding finished ninth of 10, beaten by 54 lengths, was considered.
The representative of Sir Mark Prescott's explanation that the gelding had benefitted from a break and a return to the all-weather was noted; Lindwall (IRE) was routine tested.
The performance of Jerriais (GB), which finished last of the seven runners was considered.
Jamie Osborne could offer no explanation for the gelding's performance.
Following the race, Denis Coakley reported that Bobby Kennedy (GB), which started favourite and finished sixth, was slowly away and never travelling thereafter.
