An enquiry was held to consider why Sheena West was running Cherry Cola (GB) here at Kempton on going described as Good, Good to Firm in places, having declared the filly a non-runner at Kempton on 18 October 2020 on ground with the same official description.
West stated that after walking the course today, she felt that the ground was slightly easier compared to the ground on 18 October 2020 and was therefore happy for Cherry Cola (GB) to take its chances today.
Following the race, Mr Phillip York reported that the girth on Touch Tight (IRE), unplaced, came undone halfway down the back straight.
