The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Mark Fahey, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Rhythm King, placed First, as compared with his most recent run when finishing last of nine runners at Fairyhouse

Mark Fahey stated that a return to Gowran where he has form and with the going being described as Heavy, this brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Loingseoir, trained by M.C. Grassick, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

An extended handicap for three years old and upwards rated 50-85
