Her pedigree is nice and obviously we were running her on winter ground and she wasn't handling it. This was the first time she got good ground. The Stewards requested a report from W.F. Codd, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Tellthemnuttin, placed first, as compared with its recent form. W.F. Codd reported that his charge had been running on heavy ground but struggled to handle it. Today she appreciated the good ground conditions and he believes that this was the sole reason for the improved run. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report. The Stewards enquired into the falls of Maighnealta, ridden by B.R. Dalton, Gold Class (GB), ridden by P. Townend and Nevada Rose, ridden by S. Torrens on the rise to the top of the track Evidence was heard from B.R. Dalton and S. Torrens. P. Townend was unavailable to give evidence as he was detained in the ambulance room. Having considered the evidence and viewed a recording of the race, the Stewards considered the falls to be accidental and took no further action.
