Approximately 1 ½ furlongs out, Exalted Angel (FR), unplaced, edged left causing Leo Minor (USA), placed third, to become crowded for room and stumble slightly, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
The Stewards noted that the hind leg bandaging of Tinto (GB), placed second, came adrift approximately 2 furlongs out.
Following the race, Jason Watson reported that Leo Minor (USA), placed third, suffered interference in running and K R Burke reported that Exalted Angel (FR), unplaced, was unsuited by the going, which was officially described as Good to Firm on this occasion and would prefer an easier surface.
