Permission was given for Ukantango (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference approaching the line, involving Don Hollow (GER), placed third, ridden by Harry Skelton and War Soldier (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Jonathan Burke.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved Don Hollow (GER)’s placing as the incident happened shortly before the winning line with the distance between the runners at the line being ¾ of a length.
The interference was found to be accidental as Don Hollow (GER) had hung left-handed at the same time as War Soldier (IRE) had shifted right-handed due to the horse changing its leg, causing War Soldier (GER) to be crowded for room and take a check.
