Permission was given for Maldevious (IRE) to go early wearing a red hood to the start.
Leaving the stalls Maldevious (IRE), placed third, jumped left-handed slightly inconveniencing the winner, Supermodel (IRE).
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Approximately 3½ furlongs out as the field migrated over towards the stands rail Storm Lady (GB), placed second, straightened its course before shifting slightly left-handed across the heels of Ryka (IRE), placed fourth, at the same time as Maldevious (IRE), placed third, continued to track across right-handed, resulting in Storm Lady (GB) and Maldevious (IRE) bumping on two occasions, which unbalanced both runners.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Storm Lady (GB).
Approaching the final furlong the rider of the winner, Supermodel (IRE) attempted to take a tight but legitimate gap between Maldevious (IRE), placed third, and Storm Lady (GB), placed second, before Storm Lady (GB) lugged left-handed at the same time as Maldevious (IRE) edged marginally right- handed, which resulted in Supermodel (IRE) moving Maldevious (IRE) left off its intended line when successfully improving through the gap.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Supermodel (IRE).
Following the race, Pierre-Louis Jamin reported that Teenage Daydream (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed.
