Permission was given for Horsefly (IRE) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring and to be mounted on the chute and for Maytal (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Following the race, Oisin Murphy reported that Horsefly (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away and hung left-handed under pressure and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the filly failed to reveal any abnormalities.
