The Starter reported that Dolly Clothespeg (GB) refused to enter the a stalls and was withdrawn at 3:23pm.
Adrian Wintle was informed that the mare could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Richard Kingscote, the rider of Infinitive (GB), was unseated rounding the first bend.
Kingscote and Joey Haynes, the rider of Vision Of Hope (GB), unplaced, were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
It was found that the incident was accidental and caused by the greenly running Vision Of Hope (GB) stepping suddenly right-handed into the path of Infinitive (GB), causing that filly to clip its heels and stumble becoming unbalanced, before unseating Kingscote.
Ray Dawson, the rider of Labiba (GB), placed fourth, was also interviewed but found not to be involved.
As a result of this incident, Dancing Eagle (GB), unplaced, Pink Haze (IRE), placed third, and Just Jersey (GB), unplaced, were all badly hampered.
Following the race, Nicola Currie reported that Just Jersey (GB), unplaced, was never travelling and Joey Haynes reported that Vision Of Hope (GB), unplaced, was never travelling after losing its action when its heels were clipped on the first bend.
