Successful on his first two career outings last season, the four-year-old had excuses when disappointing in group company on his third run. Having progressed further over jumps this term, the Joseph O'Brien-trained gelding should be good enough to see off this opposition. Longbourn suffered a nightmare passage when fifth in a small field at Leopardstown earlier this month. The Ross O'Sullivan-trained eight-year-old can go close here granted better luck in running. Buttermere Ridge, a maiden winner at this track on his only start to date, could be open to plenty improvement.
