After race at Fairyhouse Sat, 27th Nov, 2021 (1st)  I didn’t think there was much between the two but Davy (Russell) said the ground was too good (for seventh-placed Rodaniche). This horse handles that ground and he jumped well. He’s a grand, honest horse and runs his race every day. I think that’s Shane’s first ride for me. We wanted to claim off him and it’s worked out well. Gordon Elliott

After race at Navan Sat, 18th Sep, 2021 (1st)  It's a lovely feeling when you cross the line. It's a relief, if anything, and at least I can still do it anyway. I feel great, super, and got through Downpatrick no problem. He (Chemical Energy) jumped great. He was a big, raw horse last year but he's strengthened up into a grand horse now. it's great for Davy to come back on a winner, obviously he's a big part of the team. He's not a bad horse. I wasn't sure about him staying but it definitely looked like he stayed. He had a little blow so he'll definitely come on from that. We'll try and find a novice hurdle for him now. The owners are from England so I wouldn't be shocked if he ended up going over there for something. I'd say he doesn't want heavy ground. Gordon Elliott

After race at Down Royal Fri, 30th Oct, 2020 (1st)  Jamie (Codd) is mad about him and he has a great attitude,. He’s only four and a baby. We might just leave him for the spring and some of those better bumpers. I liked the way he stayed there, he is a real stayer. I think faster ground will suit him. He might not be a horse for heavy, heavy ground but all those festivals you don’t want heavy ground. Gordon Elliott
