An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the 1 furlong marker when the winner, Alpine Mistral (IRE), ridden by Josephine Gordon, interfered with Awake My Soul (IRE), placed second, ridden by Daniel Tudhope.
Gordon was cautioned for careless riding as she failed to take sufficient steps to prevent her horse from drifting left-handed, carrying Awake My Soul (IRE) slightly off its intended line.
The performance of The Met (GB), placed eighth, was considered.
The representative of David Loughnane’s explanation that the gelding was unsuited by the Soft ground, which in their opinion, was riding tacky on this occasion, was noted.
