Requiems Dream (IRE) trained by Mark Johnston, won at Bath the previous day.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a pre-race examination deemed the filly fit to race.
An enquiry was held to consider interference 2 furlongs out, when the winner Requiems Dream, ridden by Joe Fanning, interfered with SHE’S EASYONTHEEYE (IRE), placed third, ridden by Jason Hart.
Fanning was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had failed to take sufficient steps to prevent his mount from drifting left towards the rail causing SHE’S EASYONTHEEYE (IRE) to be checked.
Following the race, Joe Fanning reported that the winner Requiems Dream (IRE), hung left.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination during routine testing of the filly found her to be lame right fore.
