Permission was given for Brabusach (FR) to wear a red hood to post.

The raceday privilege request in relation to Brabusach (FR), trained by Ivan Furtado, was late being submitted.

As this was his fourth breach within the previous 12 months, Furtado was fined £80.

An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race following interference approximately one furlong out involving the winner, Beach Buoy (IRE), ridden by Thomas Greatrex, and Trilby (GB), placed second, ridden by Robert Havlin.

The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of Beach Buoy (IRE) as the winner always seemed to be travelling better and holding the second placed horse, with a neck between the two horses at the line.

Greatrex was cautioned for careless riding for allowing his mount to shift right-handed without timely correction causing Trilby (GB) to be shifted marginally off its intended line and causing it to be momentarily short for room on the rail.

Following the race, Ray Dawson reported that Concorde (GB), unplaced, was slowly away, Rossa Ryan reported that Due Date (GB), unplaced, was slowly away and ran green, and Hollie Doyle reported that Sajwaan (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed throughout.
