Permission was given for Pour La Victoire (IRE) to go early and be led to post, and for Zeyzoun (FR) to go early and be mounted on the course.

The raceday privilege request in relation to Pour La Victoire (IRE), trained by Tony Carroll, was not submitted.

Carroll was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted before 1pm on the day before racing.

Robyn Brisland was cautioned as SIX TILL TWELVE (IRE) had arrived in the Parade Ring without its cheek pieces which were then located and fitted on the gelding before going to the start.

An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the 2 furlong marker when, in a tightly bunched field, Princess Mayson (IRE), unplaced, ridden by William Carson, began to tire and drop back into the field and as a consequence shifted sharply right-handed causing interference to Inner Circle (IRE), placed seventh, ridden by Elisha Whittington, which was racing into a tight but legitimate gap between Princess Mayson (IRE) and Amazon Princess (GB), unplaced, ridden by Jason Hart.

This resulted in Inner Circle (IRE) becoming severely unbalanced causing it to bump Amazon Princess (GB) which had to be checked by the rider and which, in turn, resulted in Rainbow Mirage (GB), unplaced, ridden by David Probert, having to be switched right-handed and Chiavari (IRE), placed eighth, ridden by Joshua Bryan having to be switched left-handed in order to continue their runs.

The interference was found to be accidental.

Charles Bishop, the rider of Holdenhurst (GB), placed sixth, and Charlie Bennett, the rider of PURE PERFECTION (IRE), unplaced, who were racing on the outside of the field, were also present in the enquiry but found not to be involved in the interference.

Approaching the final two furlong marker Fact Or Fable (IRE), placed fourth, had to be switched left- handed off the heels of the weakening Princess Mayson (IRE), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.

Following the race, George Downing reported that Pour La Victoire (IRE), placed third, hung left- handed, Georgia Dobie reported that Hedging (IRE), placed fifth, was outpaced early, and Nicola Currie reported that Al Verde (GB), unplaced, was never travelling.
