R.P. Treacy, rider of Too Much To Ask, trained by Mrs Julie Cashin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise at the top of the hill

The Stewards fined Kevin McDonagh, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Turfjager (GER), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Turfjager (GER) in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90
The Stewards requested a report from Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Glen Of Aherlow, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer's representative, Mr. Jim O'Brien, reported that other than the drop into handicap company for the first time today he could not account for the apparent improvement.
