S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Mystic Embarr trained by Edward Cawley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped poorly throughout this race
At the request of the Stewards, D.J. McInerney, rider of Balbir Du Mathan (FR), trained by Patrick G.Kelly, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped poorly and was noted to have a cut on his off foreleg when pulled up.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Balbir Du Mathan (FR), trained by Patrick G.Kelly, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have quite a deep cut on his right fore. Samples were taken for analysis.
An extended handicap steeplechase for four years old and upwards rated 0-109
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 12st and the minimum weight shall not be less than 9st 12lbs
