We were delighted with him in Punchestown the last day when he ran on really well in the National trial,. He's had a few niggly problems, and a wind op as well, but it all seemed to come right today. The plan is to go for the Midlands National at Uttoxeter again. Fingers crossed he comes out of this well and that will be his next outing all being well. Mrs Gillian Callaghan, trainer

The Stewards received a report from Ms Inge D'Haese, Turf Club Veterinary Officer, stating that Renneti (FR) was found to be lame post race. A.W. Short, rider of Man With Van trained by Patrick Griffin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount had a good blow and got tired on the ground, and may need better ground in future. A. Ring, rider of Aimin For Anna trained by Thomas P.O'Connor, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up.

An extended handicap hurdle for four yrs old and upwards (123 = 11st 10lb)
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap; shall not be less than 11st 10lb
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap to carry 4lb extra for each hurdle race won.
Riders - Confined to Professional under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim the allowance under Rule 52 (iii). Allowances (up to and including 15th February and which are not cumulative) who have not ridden the winners of 25 *races allowed 4lb Those who have not ridden the winners of 40 *races allowed 2lb No allowance to riders under Rule 52 (iii) may be claimed.
