The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Difficult Decision, trained by Oliver McKiernan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at the nostrils post race

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Terence O'Brien, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Kalli's Quest, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Michael Browne, Authorised Representative for Terence O'Brien stated that the application of first time cheek pieces coupled with the step up in trip to three miles had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report

P.J. O'Hanlon, rider of The Echo Boy, trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly

T. Joseph Kelly, rider of Midnight Maestro (GB), trained by E. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. This was subsequently confirmed by the IHRB Veterinary Officer

P.T. Enright, rider of Difficult Decision, trained by Oliver McKiernan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Fiveaftermidnight, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered by the faller

Sam Ewing, rider of Glenloe, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount suffered an injury
