Vadream (GB) collided with the rails leaving the parade ring.

Having been checked by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start, the mare was deemed fit to race.

Holly Doyle, the rider of Wilderness Girl (IRE), drawn 12, had appeared not to keep straight from the stalls.

After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, the rider was suspended for 1 day.

An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start, involving Wilderness Girl (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Hollie Doyle, the winner, Vadream (GB), ridden by Kieran Shoemark, KING’S LYNN, unplaced, ridden by David Probert and Commanche Falls (GB), unplaced, ridden by Connor Beasley.

Doyle was cautioned for careless riding as shortly after the start she allowed her mount to drift right-handed causing Shoemark to be taken of his intended line, which in turn caused Probert to become tight for room, which in turn, caused a bump to Beasley.

Approaching the final three furlongs, Wilderness Girl (IRE), placed sixth, hung right-handed taking Jump The Gun (IRE), unplaced, marginally off its intended line which in turn took Fast Response (IRE), placed second, off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Wilderness Girl (IRE).

Following the race, K R Burke reported that El Caballo (GB), unplaced, was unsuited by the going on this occasion, officially described as Heavy, Soft In Places, and would benefit from a quicker surface and David Probert reported that KINGS LYNN, unplaced, was hampered shortly after the start.

Race 4 - 3:35pm.

THE PERTEMPS NETWORK LINCOLN (HERITAGE HANDICAP) (CLASS 2) Permission was given for BOPEDRO (FR), WANEES and YANIFER to go early to post; for AL MUBHIR, CROUPIER (IRE) and MONTASSIB to wear a red hood to post.

An enquiry was held to consider interference two and a half furlongs out, involving MONTASSIB, unplaced, ridden by Cieren Fallon and WANEES, unplaced, ridden by Jim Crowley.

Fallon was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he failed to take sufficient steps to prevent his mount from drifting right- handed when insufficiently clear of Crowley, who was tightened for room against the rail.

The performance of WANEES which started third favourite and finished unplaced, was considered.

Charles Hills’s explanation that the gelding was unsuited by the going on this occasion, officially described as Heavy, Soft In Places, and would benefit from a quicker surface was noted.

Following the race Cieren Fallon reported that MONTASSIB, unplaced, hung badly right-handed and Cam Hardie reported that YANIFER, unplaced, hung right-handed throughout.
