The Stewards interviewed L. Quinlan, rider of That's Lifebuoy, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of Regulation 10. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that L. Quinlan was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and R10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 9 racedays.
An extended handicap steeplechase for five years old and upwards that have not won a steeplechase before 2nd May 2021, other than one hunters steeplechase within the previous two National Hunt seasons (116 = 12st)
Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each steeplechase won.
