An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start, involving Hot Team (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Ethan Jones, Corsican Caper (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Joe Leavy, and Eaux De Vie (GB), placed second, ridden by Callum Shepherd.
Being a 7lb apprentice, Jones was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior rider, Leavy was offered the chance to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
The incident was considered to be accidental as Eaux De Vie (GB) had edged slightly right-handed, making contact with Corsican Caper (IRE), causing that runner to bump with Hot Team (IRE) and then resulted in Corsican Caper (IRE) being buffeted between the two runners for a number of strides.
An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the first bend involving Stand Free (GB), unplaced, ridden by William Carver, Sociologist (FR), unplaced, ridden by Elisha Whittington, Alioski (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Billy Loughnane.
Carver was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had moved left- handed towards the inside rail when insufficiently clear of Alioski (GB), which was carried onto a free running Sociologist, causing Whittington to be hampered when tightened for room.
An enquiry was held to consider interference at the end of the back straight, involving Eaux De Vie (GB), placed second, ridden by Callum Shepherd, and Corsican Caper (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Joe Leavy.
Shepherd was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had made insufficient effort to prevent his mount from moving left towards the rail, causing Corsican Caper (IRE) to run out of room and be checked.
Following the race, Joe Leavy reported that Corsican Caper (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling and suffered interference both leaving the stalls and again 4 furlongs out.
Billy Loughnane reported that Alioski (GB), placed fifth, hung right throughout.
Elisha Whittington reported that Sociologist (FR), unplaced, ran too free.
