Rachael was brilliant and kept filling him up. We were trying to find a bit of form again. I was dreaming about him over fences and he just didn’t take to them at all so it was lovely to see him go out and do that. I’m delighted for Rory (Kelleher) and the Sunday Racing Club. He loved it out in front. I’m not sure where he will go next but there are plenty of good handicaps and we may look at the Pertemps Qualifier at Christmas. Henry De Bromhead, trainer

The Stewards interviewed R.J. Condon, rider of Carrig Rock, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, R.J. Condon accepted that he was in breach of the whip guidelines in relation to frequency. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that R.J. Condon was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended R.J. Condon for two racedays

Kelly was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended A.P. Kelly for four racedays

P. Townend, rider of Cash Back (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran too free during this race.
