He is a grand big horse and had a great run the first day in a point to point this year but he had problem with his foot and then ran disappointingly. He won well with Derek (O'Connor) the last day and I'm delighted with Pa (King) who gave him a great ride. . He was once a very good horse and just needs good ground. He will stay hunter chasing next year and will go for the top hunter chases, with Aintree being his main aim.

The Raceday Stewards fined Peter Maher, trainer €65 for failing fit the declared cheekpieces to Mellow Glory, prior to entering the parade ring
The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Ms. P. Hassett, that Mr P.A. King, rider of Jeremy Pass, had weighed in at 1.1 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had a drink after weighing out and this may explain the discrepancy in weight. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. P.A. King was in breach of Rule 231(iii) and having considered his record in this regard (first offence), they cautioned him on this occasion.
A steeplechase for ] Certified Hunters five years old and upwards that have between 19th September, 2020 and 28th May, 2024 been placed either first, second, third or fourth in a Point-to-Point Steeplechase or in a Certified Hunters Steeplechase in Ireland and that have not won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing after 1st March, 2023 other than a Certified Hunters Steeplechase or a Farmers Race
