An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the two furlong marker when Dusty Damsel (GB), placed third, ridden by Rossa Ryan, interfered with Air Of York (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Callum Shepherd.
Ryan was suspended for 7 days for improper riding as he maneuvered left, when not sufficiently clear, causing Shepherd to clip heels and stumble when it ought to have been obvious that interference would occur.
Following the race, Luke Morris reported that Cashel (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed throughout and Josephine Gordon reported that Sirbowtieman (GER), unplaced, moved poorly; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
