An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final ½ furlong when Baby Steps (GB), placed second, ridden by Rossa Ryan, interfered with Sir Edward Elgar (IRE), placed third, ridden by Robert Havlin, and the winner, Colonel Faulkner (IRE), ridden by Hollie Doyle.
Ryan was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed when insufficiently clear causing Havlin to have to take a precautionary check and Colonel Faulkner (IRE) being taken off its intended line.
