The Starter reported Harrogate (IRE) was the subject of a third criteria failure.
Jim Boyle was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that Harrogate (IRE) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the gelding would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
Entering the first bend, It's All A Joke (IRE), unplaced, was left short of room when Tathmeen (IRE), placed fifth, edged left-handed at the same time as George Dryden (IRE), placed fourth, shifted right- handed.
After viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of any horse.
Following the race, Adam Kirby reported that Something Lucky (IRE), placed seventh, was slowly away, Isobel Francis reported that Harrogate (IRE), placed eighth, reared in the stalls, Cam Hardie reported that Tathmeen (IRE), placed fifth, was denied a clear run in the home straight and hung left- handed, and Rhiain Ingram reported that Peggie Sue (GB), unplaced, hung right-handed down the hill.
