Permission was given for Overture (GB) and Bonaventure (GB) to be mounted in the chute and for My Clementine (IRE) to go early and wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider two incidents of interference from inside the final two furlongs involving Bonaventure (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Daniel Muscutt and My Clementine (IRE), placed second, ridden by Gina Mangan.
Luke Morris the rider of Overture (GB), placed third, and William Carson, the rider of the winner, Monkey Miss (GB), were also interviewed but neither was found to be involved.
In the first incident, which occurred approximately one and a half furlongs out, the interference was found to be accidental as at the same time as Bonaventure (GB) attempted a tight but legitimate run to the outside of My Clementine (IRE), that filly shifted marginally right-handed resulting in Bonaventure (GB) becoming placed on heels for a number of strides thereafter.
In the second incident approaching the half furlong marker, Mangan was cautioned for careless riding as she allowed her tiring mount to shift right-handed without correction, causing Muscutt to pause in his riding for a couple of strides.
