Permission was given for Agreed (GB) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring.
Dark Heart (GB), placed third, hung badly right-handed from leaving the stalls and became unsteerable approaching the first bend taking Kommodity Kid (IRE), unplaced, across the entirety of the course to the outside rail.
After viewing a recording of the incident it was found that this was due to circumstances beyond the riders control and it had not improved the placing of Dark Heart (GB); therefore no further action was taken.
Following the race, Joe Fanning reported that Dark Heart (GB), placed third, hung badly right-handed, and Rob Hornby reported that Kommodity Kid (IRE), unplaced, was badly hampered rounding the first bend.
