Passing the 1 furlong marker, Cabrera (IRE), placed second, edged left-handed away from the whip, lightly bumping Ayyab (GB), placed fourth, which became unbalanced as a result, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Cabrera (IRE).
Approximately ¾ of a furlong out, Cabrera (IRE), placed second, lugged right-handed carrying the winner, Meribella (GB), onto Bint Al Daar (GB), placed third, moving both those runners off their intended lines, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Cabrera (IRE).
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Beatrice Shilling (IRE), unplaced, was lame right-fore.
