That was grand. When we saw her Nursery mark we said it was worth a chance over a quick five (furlongs). Soft ground would make it a test and we think she wants a bit further. She is showing plenty of boot and had a hiccup before Down Royal which left her a tad shy for that race so we knew she was better coming here than going there. The plan was to come over (to the stands' side): historically there is, what they call it in Lingfield, a golden highway here. Whatever chance we had, it had to come out wide. We'll now have a look at something like the Round Tower or Curragh Stakes at the end of the month and start hunting black-type with her. G M Lyons, trainer
