After race at Punchestown Wed, 17th May, 2017 (1st)
We're not surprised as we always thought a lot of the horse. We brought him to England and thought he'd win there. Then he came back here for the festival and disappointed in the bumper so we said we'd kick on over hurdles. We think he's a very, very good horse and thank God he put it all together. Ian gave him a brilliant ride. He had rode plenty of work on him and had a lot of faith in the horse. The only mistake he made was the bad mistake at the second last and he did well to keep the momentum going.
