It's good to win with him again. Sorcha was very good on him. I thought he'd gone a little bit moody and wasn't finishing out his races. She lights then up a bit, so we gave her a go on him. She's in with us a few mornings a week so it's great that she rode the winner. It was a very messy race, one minute 15 and change for good class sprinters.

It was (a fair effort under 10st2lb), but he had dropped him a few pound and he was in a lower grade. They went very fast, but he did it well in the end. He climbed the hill well. He's not a good horse, but he's not a bad horse! He runs his race time and time again. I remember three or four runs back and he was second in Dundalk. I went in for a cup of tea and this punter came in and said 'that horse of yours is only a dog'. He was second to Tawaazon and trying to give it weight!. What you see is what you get, always there or thereabouts. Sarah had a nice winner of the previous race (Screen Siren).

He (Sheehy) did (ride him with confidence), he's a good rider. I told him he travels well, sit with him as long as you can and come with one run. His mum (Gathering Power) was good to me, she was a good mare and his father (Slade Power) was great! He's the first foal out of that family. We've had a lot of seconds and thirds and we haven't had a winner for about six weeks. We would like to try him at six (furlongs again), his father and mother both liked six. He's a strong traveller.

He’s a homebred but is nothing like his mother or father who I both trained.
