Two up at Naas for Lyons and Keane with Party House
Ger Lyons and Colin Keane completed a Naas double when Party House looked smart on debut in the BBA Ireland Sourcing U.S. Winners Fillies Maiden. Mon 26th AprCoill Avon so good on handicap bow
On his handicap debut three-year-old Coill Avon gave older rivals a lesson in race two at Naas. Mon 26th AprCoill Avon benefits from experience
Ger Lyons' Coill Avon got off the mark at the time time of asking in the opening six furlong juvenile maiden for colts and geldings at the Curragh. Sun 26th JulGoing update and market movers
The going at the Curragh is now Yielding (straight) and Good to Yielding (on round course) after 5mm of rain. Sun 26th JulForest Of Dreams picks up well for Heffernan
Coill Avon made a bold bid from the front to give Ger Lyons and Colin Keane a quick double at Navan in the 2-y-o (C&G) maiden, but uphill over the final furlong and a half Forest Of Dreams (16/5) really found his stride to collar the leader and score by two and a quarter lengths. Fri 03rd JulLucky Vega "only going to improve" after smart Naas debut win
A 175,000 Euro yearling and bred by the famed Kilcarn Stud in County Meath, Lucky Vega (8/1 into 9/2 second favourite) was good on debut, taking the Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C & G) Maiden at Naas. Mon 08th Jun
After race at Curragh Sun, 26th Jul, 2020 (1st)
He's done it nicely and he's after stepping up from his run in Navan (when second). He did it all wrong in Navan and is very immature. He was fly-leaping and leaning off the rail but in fairness to him he had to do it the hard way there. That has stood to him today and he appreciated that ground. We've always liked him and when the penny drops mentally he will be a nice horse. We've always thought he was a stakes horse and being by Kingman you don't know how high he can go. He's done what we thought he should have done a bit earlier. We'll give him plenty of time and he'll be a nice horse.
